Illa-Scriptor

Cross posted to my other account, my apologies if you watch both.  :) I may have the opportunity to work with a photographer I admire in the coming two weeks, in my first non-cosplay photoshoot.  I've always been a fan of concept photography/modelling/makeup/whathaveyou, and would like to do a concept shoot with her, in a DFW outdoors locale.  Problem is, I'm drawing a blank on inspiration and setting. Have any recommendations?  It could be a song, a character, an idea... anything to spark the imagination, anything that you'd like to see a shoot of.  And places in the area would be helpful too.  :3  Thanks, friends!

I had a lengthy conversation with my good friend ~talkinggoat972 (https://www.deviantart.com/talkinggoat972) last night, sorting out my insecurities and self-hatred.  For a long time I've had "I'm a little girl in a big world" as my personal quote here on dA and on Facebook.  I've always meant by it that I am just a small person in a big wondrous world, but I didn't realize it also reflects my diminutive view of myself. I am a proud person.  But since my "accomplishments" aren't what normal society views as success (especially now that I'm in a theatre program where success is measured in the number of plays you're cast in), I am not proud of myself. When I first started this account, it was for whatever I felt like putting on here... which, more and more as of late, has been my poetry.  Unfortunately, many of my watchers are people who know me through cosplay, and thus have no interest in my poetry.  This has bothered me for a while- though I do love my watchers who read/comment on my writing, I feel bad that so many cosplay friends are getting periodically flooded with stuff they don't care about.
